How does it work?
- Private Medical Insurance (PMI) can provide immediate access to specialist medical
care.
- Currently, the PMI scheme provides cover for each employee, together with the option
to purchase cover for your spouse or partner and dependants.
- Cover is provided for diagnostic tests and hospital in-patient and day-patient treatment.
- You have access to the nationwide network of BUPA Partnership hospitals and the
24-hour BUPA Helpline offering confidential advice and guidance.
- This benefit will continue to be provided via SH Online Reward with the opportunity
for you to purchase additional cover for your spouse or partner and dependants.

the additional cost will be deducted from your net pay over a 12 month period.
- You can choose to opt out of the PMI scheme however you will not receive any refund
of the equivalent premium.
