Health Club Membership

How does it work?

All employees are entitled to receive an annual allowance of up to £400 towards the cost of health club memberships plus a one-off contribution of up to £150 towards joining fees.

This benefit is available for annual membership subscriptions for health and sports clubs. It is not available for one-off courses, activities or events.

To claim this benefit you must complete this form and also provide evidence of the cost of membership by submitting one of the following:

  • An invoice
  • Original letter or membership application form stating:
    • Your full name
    • A breakdown of the costs involved and the covering period
    • The club's registered VAT number

There are also existing discounts with Nuffield Health, Virgin Active and St Paul's Gyms which can be used as part of this benefit.

Please note that you cannot backdate payment of the subsidy by more than one month. If you cease employment with the Firm, you will be required to pay back any outstanding subsidy which will be deducted from your final salary.
